2020 YEAR IN REVIEW VIDEO


2020 was certainly a year unlike any other. COVID-19 changed our lives and our perception of ’normal.’ Volunteer fire companies from all over were faced with challenges like never before. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our members, we were able to adapt and work through these challenges. It has certainly been a crazy year for us here at Undercliff VFC but we still have so much to be thankful for.


We would like to invite you to take a look back on 2020 with us in the Undercliff VFC 2020 Year in Review Video. A yearly tradition to showcase some highlights of the company for the previous year.


We would also like to take this time to say THANK YOU to each and every one of you for supporting us this year. When we say we could not do it without you, we truly mean it. All of you support allows us to keep our promise of providing our residents and businesses with first class fire protection and rescue services. So, again we think you so much!

425 CALLS FOR SERVICE IN 2020


Happy New Year everyone! We closed out the year 2020 with 425 calls for service. These are calls ranging from things like building fires, fire alarms, car accidents, physical rescues, and many other call types. We do not run any QRS or medical calls so these are all fire service calls. Our members also racked up over 1200 hours of combined training this year from taking outside classes and also in house weekly trainings. As you can imagine, all these calls and trainings takes up an enormous amount of time. We are so thankful for all the dedicated members we have and all the time they put in serving their community! It is truly remarkable!

We would also like to take this time to thank each and every one of you for all your support during this crazy year! COVID-19 forced us to cancel many large fundraisers, including our biggest fundraiser which was our weekly bingo. You all answered the call though and helped support us through these tough times with your generous donations and supporting our new tip raffles. So THANK YOU again for all your support! We cannot do what we do without you! All the money raised goes right back into protecting the community by purchasing life saving gear and equipment.

MEMBERS ALWAYS NEEDEDHave you ever considered joining your local volunteer fire company? Do you have the drive to help your community and serve your neighbors? Undercliff VFC is always looking for new members to join our family. We have two classes of membership here at Undercliff. We offer both firefighter and business member classes of membership. All firefighters receive FREE training from the company and are on the front lines to help people in their time of need. Our business members help raise the funds we need to purchase life saving equipment for our firefighters and also help with the day to day administrative roles here.
The following video was filmed, edited, and directed entirely by our members. It shows just what it is like to be a member here at Undercliff VFC and what it means to our members. We ask everyone to take 10 minutes and learn a little more about your local volunteer fire company. We can always use new members and encourage anyone out there that is on the fence about join to give it a try!
Feel free stop by any Monday to Friday night to talk to us and pick up an application. You can also message us directly with any questions. There has never been a better time to getting solved and volunteers are definitely needed!
